Member Services (Front Desk)
A position in the Member Services department is the first line in making our members’ dreams come true. Responsibilities include handling rental room/campsite reservations, check-in/check-out procedures, disseminating information to other departments, answering phones, taking messages and providing local area information. We’re looking for positive, friendly, organized, neat and pleasant good communicators who are detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks while remaining calm under pressure.
The Guardhouse personnel admit members and visitors into the resort and handle RV check-ins. The working environment includes both indoor and outdoor work, and individuals are required to perform duties during times of extreme heat and inclement weather. Exceptional customer service and communication skills both verbal and written are required.
Activity department positions range from manning the paddleboats to aiding in organizing events for all age groups. The job requires good public relations work and a good attitude towards people. Applicants must be organized, responsible and able to follow directions. Lots of energy, exuberance and a little craziness are required! Valid driver’s license required for full-time year-round employment with continuing employment contingent upon driving record passing a yearly insurance inspection.
Park Rangers are in charge of the protection of the resort and its members. Their responsibilities take place primarily at night. Either experience or some formal schooling in law enforcement or security work is preferred. Applicants must be physically fit, honest, of good character and able to handle any emergency situations that arise. The job also requires good public relations skills and a friendly, helpful, outgoing nature. Valid driver’s license required for full-time year-round employment with continuing employment contingent upon driving record passing a yearly insurance inspection.
The housekeeper’s primary responsibility is keeping the resort facilities and rental rooms clean. General cleaning, mopping, laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, shampooing and dusting are routine duties. Applicants must be diligent workers who are tidy, organized and very detail oriented.
